Toro 60V Stripe Dual Blade Self-Propelled Lawn Mower

Posted on May 10, 2023 by

Achieve Professional-Grade Lawn Stripes with Toro's Striped Self-Propelled Lawn Mowers

Battery-powered lawn mowers have come a long way over the years, with many brands pushing the envelope to actually compete with gas power. One hurdle many consumers may have is cut quality – how do you get a "professional" look with an electric lawn mower? It's definitely possible, and we're looking at the Toro Stripe mower to see how it can go a step further for professional-level results.

Toro 60V Strip Mower Performance

toro-60v-stripe mower
  • Model: Toro 21623T
  • Up to 65 minutes of runtime
  • Reduces up to 2/3 of an acre per charge
  • Brushless Motor
  • Built-in lawn markers for a professional-grade look
  • Stacked dual blades provide better cut quality

This mower features a stacked dual-blade system, similar to what we've seen in Ryobi's CrossCut and EGO's Select Cut models. It also features Toro's Recycler cutting system, which mulches grass clippings in a very fine manner and returns them to the lawn as nutrients.

What makes the Stripe mower stand out is actually its name. It features a built-in lawn marker to leave that much-sought-for professional-looking streak on your lawn.

This mower uses a brushless motor and a 60V Toro battery that will give you up to 65 minutes of run time per charge or up to 2/3 of an acre. When it's time to recharge, you can restart and charge in as little as 70 minutes with Toro's fast charger.

Toro Stripe Mower
  • 21" Cutting Table
  • Up to 25% lighter than Toro's 60V Recycler
  • Adjustable speed control knob
  • Three in one row of grass
  • High Beam LED Headlights
  • 10 inch rear wheels
  • Handle folds for vertical storage

The Stripe mower features a 21-inch cutting deck in a lightweight design. In fact, Toro tells us this mower is 25 percent lighter than its 60V Recycler model, weighing 73 pounds.

Like many lawn mowers, this one features 3-in-1 grass discharge: bagging, mulching, or side discharge. To get a side dump, you must first register your mower on Toro's website.

When you're done mowing for the day, the handle folds down for compact vertical storage.

Toro Stripe Mower Prices

This mower comes in a variety of models, with prices reflecting the features you want. The base design retails for $379 ($479 for the complete set), but doesn't include self-propelled or dual-blade capabilities. If you want both, the self-propelled dual-blade model retails for $629 bare and $729 kit, including the 7.5Ah battery and fast charger.

Toro offers a 2-year warranty on your mower and a 3-year warranty on the battery.
