In response to the needs of South Floridians and electricians who enjoy catching some waves during their lunch break without the hassle of changing their footwear, KEEN Utility has introduced the Key West Steel Toe Flip Flops with much excitement.
After conducting extensive field research, KEEN discovered that many electricians in Florida already wear flip flops to the jobsite. With safety in mind, the company decided to provide them with a safety toe solution to enhance their protection while working. Now, electricians can soak up the sun and surf, and seamlessly transition back to the job site without needing to change their shoes.
The new KEEN Key West Steel Toe Flip Flop not only offers safety but also showcases various features. The sole of the flip flop contains a built-in bottle opener for added convenience. In terms of safety standards, these flip flops meet the ASTM F1677-96 MARK II and F2913-19 SATRA anti-skid test standards. To provide additional protection, KEEN has also incorporated the ASTM F2412-18 and F2413-18 MI/75 C/75 EH Electrical Hazard Protection Standards.
More Information
The new Keen steel-toed flip flops will be available for purchase starting April 1, priced at $140.
