HART Introduces Brushless Motor Upgrade for Its Cordless 1/2″ Impact Wrench
HART is expanding its range of garage-focused tools that deliver ample power and performance for the weekend DIY enthusiast. Today, we’re taking a closer look at the HART Cordless 1/2″ Impact Wrench, which offers enhanced torque and ergonomics without the hassle of air hoses and compressors.

HART’s latest 1/2″ impact wrench boasts a brushless motor and falls into the medium torque category. It features three speed modes ranging from 0 to 2800 RPM, with a maximum impact rate of 3200 impacts per minute.
Right from the outset, this brushless impact wrench delivers noticeably more power than its brushed predecessor. With 600 foot-pounds of breakaway torque, it’s a significant improvement over the HART HPIW01’s 350 foot-pounds. For tightening torque, you can rely on 475 ft-lbs.
With such power, stubborn nuts and rusty bolts pose no problem. However, it’s important to be cautious about overtightening. Unlike some high-end models, HART does not include any auxiliary modes to prevent damage to threads or fasteners.
