Get the performance of 48 volts and the versatility of a 24 volt battery with the Greenworks PowerAll Mower
We talk a lot about Greenworks' Pro 60V series of lawn care equipment, but if you're looking for a more versatile platform, the 24V series is where to turn. The Greenworks PowerAll 48V Lawn Mower uses two 24V batteries to run an emerging line of power tools as well as other yard tools. The 2 x 24V configuration provides better performance without the need for bulky batteries.
Greenworks PowerAll 48V Self-Propelled Lawn Mower Models
Greenworks 21-Inch Self-Propelled Lawn Mower 2532902

The flagship of the PowerAll 48V mower line is a 21-inch self-propelled mower very similar to what we've seen on the 60V line. It uses a brushless motor with rear-wheel drive to make working your lawn easier, and has a turbo button to kick in the power on thicker grass.
This size mower is good for lawns up to 1/2 acre and can run for 70 minutes on a single charge. The bonus is that there are four battery ports and they switch automatically so you can work without interruption. Here are some additional highlights:
- steel deck structure
- Covers, bags or side discharges
- 1 3/8 – 4" cutting height (7 positions)
- 8" front and 10" rear wheels
- Front LED light
- Handle folds forward to store mower vertically
- USB charging port integrated in the battery
purchase options
- $499.99 with four 4.0Ah batteries and two dual-port chargers
Greenworks 21-Inch Self-Propelled Lawn Mower 2532502

There are two main differences between this and the previous 21-inch model we just discussed. One is the handle. This is a more traditional steel tube design without the easy fold points integrated into the handle. Another big change is that this one only has two batteries instead of four.
Plan to treat up to 1/2 acre of lawn with this size mower. The two 5.0Ah batteries in the kit provide 45 minutes of run time, enough to cover a 1/4 acre homestead in our Florida conditions. Here are some additional highlights:
- steel deck structure
- Covers, bags or side discharges
- 1 3/8 – 4" cutting height (7 positions)
- 8" front and 10" rear wheels
- Front LED light
- Handle folds forward to store mower vertically
- USB charging port integrated in the battery
purchase options
- $449.99 with two 5.0Ah batteries and a dual-port charger
Greenworks 20" Self-Propelled Lawn Mower 1313902

Greenworks' PowerAll 48V 20-Inch Self-Propelled Lawn Mower is slightly smaller and has a very similar design to the one above. In fact, that's the only substantial difference in the mower itself. Importantly as a kit, this model includes a brushless drill driver to get you started with Greenworks' line of 24V power tools.

Greenworks 20-Inch Walk-Behind Lawn Mower 2532802

If you like the concept of Greenworks' top self-propelled lawn mower, but would rather save a little money and buy a push mower, then this is the one for you! The deck is slightly smaller at 20 inches, but it has the same 4-battery capacity with automatic switching and an easy-fold handle. The kit includes two 4.0Ah batteries that you can use for up to 45 minutes of run time.

Greenworks 20-Inch Walk-Behind Lawn Mower 1313802

Remove the rear-wheel drive and drop the deck size an inch from the 2532502 above, and you have Greenworks' PowerAll 48V 20-Inch Walk-Behind Mower. While the decks are the same size and are suitable for lawns up to 1/2 acre, we generally recommend a walk behind lawn mower for lawns 1/4 acre or less unless you really value a few steps per week. Like its self-propelled counterpart, Greenworks includes a brushless drill in the kit.

Greenworks 17-Inch Walk-Behind Lawn Mower

If you have a smaller lawn or prefer an overall lighter mower, the Greenworks 17-Inch Walk-Behind Mower is a great fit. Like many of the smaller lawn mowers we've tested, this one has bag and mulch options, but no side discharge. The height range is also slightly lower than the larger models in the PowerAll 48V series, up to 3 3/8 inches.
