The Green Machine uses the popular and more efficient inline jet fan design. By taking air in from behind and shooting it straight out, it eliminates the friction of sending air through a 90° bend like side intake models.

control
Controls consist of a fixed trigger that works in conjunction with a variable speed dial to control the power level. When you need maximum power, press the Turbo button to move the toughest debris.
Blowing power
On paper, the blower is capable of producing 655 CFM and 123 MPH. We set up force gauges to see what they would do in combination. At high altitude, our meter registered 12.5 Newtons. Use the Turbo button to reach 16.8 Newtons. To put it in perspective, handheld gas blowers designed for homeowners typically top out at around 12 Newtons.

At low speeds, Green Machine tells us to expect up to 100 minutes of blowing from the 4.0Ah battery in the kit. We tested it on high and were able to blow air continuously for 16 minutes and 45 seconds. In Turbo mode, we got 12 minutes and 9 seconds.
noise level
One of the great advantages of battery powered blowers is the lower noise level. We recorded noise levels of 93 decibels for treble and 95 decibels for turbo, measured from our operator's ears. In comparison, a handheld blower can run over 100 decibels on the same test.
