The Craftsman C3 19.2V Compact Lithium-Ion Cordless Drill/Driver is the latest addition to the C3 cordless tool system. The latest technology used to create this compact and ergonomic drill has reduced its weight by 30% and given it features normally associated with full-size drills. It comes standard with a 1/2" keyless chuck, two-speed gearbox, 24-position adjustable torque clutch, and a built-in LED work light in the handle.
The good news about this drill is that it is backwards compatible with all NiCd and Li-Ion batteries previously released for the C3 series of tools. The compact lithium-ion battery that comes with the drill is thinner than regular lithium-ion batteries and has a slightly lower overall capacity, but still provides 10% more power than the old NiCd batteries. A handy battery fuel gauge is built into the front of the battery, and when pressed it will change from green to yellow to red to indicate the battery level.
