Bosch Full Power Technology Pneumatic Nailer

Posted on September 6, 2023 by Philbert Jackson

Bosch Introduces Innovative Pneumatic Nailer with Full Power Technology

The Power of Innovation

The pneumatic realm welcomes a groundbreaking addition with the launch of Bosch’s Full Power Nailer. This revolutionary tool boasts cutting-edge Bosch technology, providing a 10% increase in power while reducing its size by 20%. Accompanying the Full Power Nailer are a range of matching air compressors.

Redefining Pneumatic Nailers

In 2009, Bosch made a remarkable entrance into the market of pneumatic nailers with the Full Power Nailer line. These nailers showcase Bosch’s latest technology, delivering a 10% boost in power while reducing their size by 20%. Notably, Bosch’s nailers stand out due to their innovative approach to resetting the internal piston after each nailing.

Enhanced Design

Unlike other pneumatic nailers on the market, Bosch’s design eliminates the need for a separate air chamber inside the tool’s body. This clever modification allows the trigger to drive the piston and secure the nail in place. Releasing the trigger initiates a small second shock of air that returns the piston to its original position. This ingenious design significantly increases the actuation force by approximately 10%. As a result, Bosch’s nailers are approximately 20% smaller than their competitors.

Bosch Air Nailers Lineup

Impeccable craftsmanship characterizes Bosch’s range of pneumatic nailers. The lineup includes the Bosch SN350-20F framing nails (round head) and the Bosch SN350-34C framing nails (collet head). These robust nailers are purpose-built to withstand the demands of construction sites, making it easier to align lumber before driving nails.

Additionally, Bosch plans to release trolley-mounted compressors, including a natural gas and an electric model. The remaining lineup consists of Bosch Coil Roof Nailers, Bosch Brad Nailers, Narrow Crown Nailers, Bosch Bevel Nailers, and Bosch Straight Nailers.

Final Thoughts on Bosch Pneumatic Nailers

While Bosch pneumatic nailers tend to be pricier, they excel in quality when compared to offerings from Hitachi, Paslode, Bostitch, and Senco. Unfortunately, the line of Bosch pneumatic nailers seems to have been discontinued. However, there is potential for future re-introduction. For now, we can confidently say that we thoroughly enjoy using these nailers while they are available.
